About

My name is Kristina and I have been active in the horse industry for over 20 years. I am an instructor, rider, photographer, trainer, and friend to our horse counterparts. I have loved horses from a young age and continue to do so with each passing day. My dream as a child was to work with and around horses, so I thereafter graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Equine Administration from William Woods University. Two years after that I graduated with a Masters of Business Administration. While I may not have an "actual" job in the horse industry, I pursue my passion through caring for and managing my own horses and helping others in the pursuit of the equine passions.

The Equus Ally is just that - an ally to the horses, the equestrian community and those that are interested in such. My vision is to share my knowledge with others in the hope to improve the life of both horse and rider in their singular connection.

This blog will contain posts that will inform, address, instruct, review, list, link, rant, inspire, research, critique, debate, etc. subjects relevant to the equestrian industry

Note: I may not write a new blog article every day.

I encourage any and all comments, disagreements, and criticisms from readers and visitors. I will try to respond to communications from readers and visitors as much as I can. Spam is not permitted on my blog, and I will delete it when I see it. However, I will say that relevant links in comments are actively encouraged, and I will allow signature in comments as long as the comment adds value.
